History of Music Videos Coursework Yay

It is important for me to understand the developments that have occurred in the music industry directly relating to music videos, this is so I can fit my music video in with the time period of which I want it to reflect and further I have now a greater understanding of the current conventions of music videos and how these conventions came about. I now have a progressive view of music videos.

Here I have researched into music video theories, of which can ultimately guide me in my research and planning for my final product. It is crucial that I understand these theories as therefore I can apply them to my music video, ensuring that mine is at the standard of those currently present on today's market!

My Name is Naomi Palfreman and I am currently studying A2 media studies, of which I aim to produce a high standard music video, album cover and website for my artist. It is very important that my products reflect my chosen target market, and genre, as well as submitting to music video theories such as that of Andrew Goodwin.
