Here is a copy of an email I received from my teacher, giving me feedback on my magazine advertisement. This really aided me in ensuring that all the necessary conventions were present.

Based on this feedback, and other positive feedback from the rest of my customer feedback, I have established that my product is successful and professional and therefore ready to be branded in this way.
CUSTOMER FEEDBACK ON MAGAZINE ADVERTISEMENT:

Sarah " I really like this product. I love the idea of having the album cover on the top half as I feel this strengthens the overall brand and enables me personally to link the two products (album cover and this) together which is really good. I also like the tear effect separating the album cover from the main image, as this fits with the rebellious nature of youths/cool kids which fits with your song.

Jana " This whole design is really good. I love the colour scheme used, and it is the same that was used for your album cover which is really good and keeps all your products in sync. I think you could maybe extend the space for the middle text, however other than that I think it is overall a fabulous product and I would be attracted to it"

Nancy " This whole product is great. I love the use of your logo on the background section it the information, as i feel this strengthens your brand. I also really like the inclusion of the tear effect, as this is rebellious which fits with your song. You could possibly make the tear effect thicker to make it even more noticeable. Other than that I think its a really good product.

Aziza " This overall product is so so great. I love the consistency of the two products (album cover and magazine advertisement) and i like the fact that the album cover is at the top of the page and reappears at the bottom of the page, leading to consistency. I love the colour scheme used, especially because the bright red resembles free spiritness and stuff which is closely linked to your indie pop genre. Overall this is such a great product and I personally think its very confoamtive of other magazine advertisements on today's market at the moment.

In this presentation I have outlined the steps and processes I went through in order to produce my final magazine music advertisement. This is important, both so that I can identify the skills I have learned throughout the process, but to also ensure that my inclusion of certain conventions is both conformative of my indie pop genre and target audience preferences.

The final slide includes pictures of my final product, along with customer feedback from people conformative of my target audience. This will aid me in making any appropriate changes to my product and when it comes to evaluating its success.

Typography and logo for ninth outcast from naomipalfreman36

The typography for my magazine advertisement is the same as that for my Album cover.
To produce this I used a black sharpie marker pen, on A3 poster paper, to get the achieved look. It was tricky because I had to ensure that all my typography looked the same, and was In synch with the typography used in my album cover, so that all products are corresponding.

Here is the typography that I produced using the black sharpie marker pen. The typography I included was conformative of the indie pop genre, as it resembled youth handwriting, further emphasising my target audience as well as the rebellious nature of the indie pop genre.

In addition this text is the same as the text included on my album cover, even though I wrote them on different days. This is very important as it ensures that my products, all look the same and fit together.
The information included in the typography is conformative of the typical conventions of magazine album cover, for example, tour dates is a common feature of all magazine advertisements. This will make my product look more realistic and professional further strengthening my overall product.

Magazine flat from naomipalfreman36

Here I have produced four flat plans, all designed as an aid in me deciding my preferred layout for my magazine advertisement. From these flat plans I have asked people conformatiove of my target audience to look at them and tell me which one they feel would be most effective representing my product, along side my chosen image. This is taking into account that my chosen image is the same one as the one demonstrated on my album cover.

When i come to producing my album cover, i can refer back to these flat plans to aid me in ensuring that all the necessary features and conventions are present on my magazine advertisement to ensure it is successful and appealing for my target audience.

After referring to my target audience feedback I have decided that the image of which i will use for my magazine advertisement is this one. However this means it is the same as the one I used for my album cover, leading me to question the inclusion of the album cover as a feature of my magazine advertisement to further the sync of my products.
CONTACT SHEET- MAGAZINE IMAGES

Here is a shortlisted selection of the pictures we took during our photo shoot for our magazine advertisement. It is these images of which i selected as my favorites to put forward to represent my magazine advertimsnet. This is because not only do they have the same models as my album cover, ensuring all my products are in sync but they also are of a high professional standard, ensuring that they will be appealing to my target audience.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK:
Customer one " I really like these images, my favorite one is the second image, as i feel this is most professional and has the full attention of all models. For example the third image is good, but one of your models is not looking at the camera which can be distracting and make your product look less professional. For this reason i would suggest possibly using the second image."
Customer Two" These images are really great. My favorites are image two and image four, This is because i feel they look most professional and i like the fact that in the last fourth image the model is smiling, as this gives it a softer look. I dont like the first image, as i feel the models look distracted and exhibit a lack of connection which isn't very professional."
Customer three " All these images are great, however if i were to pick one i would say number two as the first image, i feel the costume code of the female model is not quite right, and therefore may not be appealing to your target audience. In addition the second image has all band members Incorporated which strengthens to quality of the image and makes the band more appealing to your target audience.
Customer four" I lobe all these images, however my favorite would be number two, followed by number four. This is because i feel they look the most professional and Representative of other products on the market. For example, the fourth image is a slight close up[ which i like as this engages the audience further, however i feel as though the fact that the model is smiling makes the image lack professionalism, and looks more candid, For this reason i would suggest going for number two as i feel as though this is the most professional looking product and is of the highest possible standard."

Here I have clarified the location in which I will shoot pictures to include on my second product, being the magazine advertisement.

I have also edited this prezi since then, and included the pictures taken during the day shooting pictures for my magazine advertisement, here I can visually establish the best picture to take forward to use for my magazine advertisement, one offering the best most professional appearance.
